SUMMARY:Intergenerational Queer & Trans Mutual Aid Storytelling
DESCRIPTION:This is an afternoon of intergenerational storytelling\, community\, mutual aid and oral history\, hosted with the We Help Us hotline. It explores how and why members of our communities have taken care of one another when institutions haven’t. \nAn intergenerational panel of queer and trans storytellers shares mutual aid experiences\, followed by breakout discussions\, a harm reduction mutual aid activity with the Aliveness Project\, and free food and drink. \nYou can also document your own story for the We Help Us project\, which will be archived at the Jean-Nickolaus Tretter Collection. It’s free and open to the public. RSVP is requested.
