Gráinne Hunt & Jules Stewart

Grainne Hunt and Jules Stewart are a touring queer folk duo pairing Irish singer-songwriter Grainne Hunt with San Diego based drummer and vocalist Jules Stewart. Their music builds on close vocal harmony and folk songwriting, with Hunt's voice drawing comparisons to Tracy Chapman and Natalie Merchant and the duo's sound compared to acts such as the Indigo Girls and Brandi Carlile. Stewart brings 25 years of drumming experience to their live shows. The pair tours the United States, the United Kingdom and Ireland, including a run of shows premiering Hunt's program Queer Arrivals at the Liverpool Irish Festival, and their United States routing includes Minnesota dates.
