Linda Raines (she/her) is a Minnesota transplant by way of southeastern Missouri, southern Alabama, and southeastern Kansas. She landed in the Twin Cities after telling her husband—who’d taken a position as a physician in a small medical practice in SE Kansas—that a small, rural, farming town just really wasn’t working out for the Crazy Liberal Dog Lady who showed Basenjis and dressed up for Renaissance Festivals. She loves to travel internationally, read books about history, vintage fashion and jewelry, supports a number of dog rescue groups in Spain and Egypt, has an unhealthy addiction to sharing memes on Facebook and Instagram, and obsesses over her Basenji named Kyla and her Spanish rescue dog, a Podenco Ibicenco named Oberon.
